London Fashion Week 2020 : The Craziest Outfits

London Fashion Week is all about showing off the fashion that new and old artists have created, no matter how extravagant. This week's London Fashion Show finished Today and we’re going to review the most eye catching fashion from sparkly to outright crazy.

We’re all surprised that some of the costumes are everyday looks for some people.

1.Ashley Williams - Pom Pom

Now I don’t know what anyone else is thinking but I think this looks a little bit like the craft supply that I would overuse as a child. The white feathers on the head and black feather dress looks like a pom pom. I wonder if it keeps you as warm as it looks.

2. On|Off Presents - Wizardry

So On|Off Presents normally have wacky outfits, they normally go all out to try and shock people more and more. The theme for this London Fashion Week seems to be a couple of different topics but one of them is a mystical theme with lots of holographic materials and pointy hats.

3. Shrimps - Yes Ma’am!

Some of these outfits seem like they would fit the royals perfectly. The plaid and faux perfectly fit the style of elegance that the queen would match with, so only those with a love of texture and pattern would suit this look.

4. University of Westminster BA - You gotta be wigging me?

University students that enter the fashion are often some of the most talented and original fashion designers that you will come across, and I can definitely agree with that, because I have never thought about putting 5 wigs together to make one mega wig.

5. Vivienne Westwood - Sacrifices

Vivienne Westwood is a renowned designer and it looks like she's sticking with the punk side while creating political moves and sexual references. The 70’s look is coming back into style with this look. The outfits themselves are too over the top however Vivienne’s whole style is about being different and showing that punker side.

6. Richard Quinn - The Cowardly Lion look

Richard’s outfits aren’t too outstandish they look like something that celebrities would wear to awards, or even that a mother could wear to a wedding. His outfits aren’t too out of the way they just look like outfits for specific occasions, this is more for the head piece of this model. Not only must have been incredibly itchy with the feather tips being by her face but the urge to sneeze must have been incredibly high when she’s walking around with feathers by her nose. However if we did ever need a jazzed up lion like mane for a Wizard of Oz piece this would be perfect.

7. Pam Hogg - Arts & Crafts

Okay so when we mentioned in the first photo that we thought Ashley Williams look was a Pom Pom this is definitely a Pom Pom, or rather a load of Pom Pom’s. It looks like a child has been given a load of random objects to glue and stick with. A lot of Pam Hogg’s fashion show did have extravagant and over the top outfits. Including the outfit with the Jesus hat.

8. ROKSANDA - Knitter Natter

Roksanda uses darker colours and simple textures and creates outfits that actually make sense. Most of her outfits aren’t over the top and they are outfits that you would see someone on the street wearing. Her knitted dress is something I have ever seen, I’m sure my nan probably had one when she was younger, but knitting is something that isn’t really seen anymore. The most you’ll see would be your nan knitting a baby outfit. The knitted dress is a bold move but not a good choice for rain.

9. Simone Rocha - 60’s Style

This outfit isn’t too bizarre however it is more eccentric than most of the dresses that have been created by other artists this year, along with eccentricity is the idea of the posh and rich wearing these but the average Joe going nowhere near it. Simone’s outfits seem to be out of a 70’s murder movie when the wife is interviewed in a dressing gown in the similar style of these outfits.

10. Burberry - Gryffindor

Burberry is a well known brand. It started off showcasing at Fashion shows and now takes part in a number of fashion shows every year. As well as taking part in fashion shows they also produce products for everyday customers to be able to buy. Burberry is the USA equivalent of Gucci. Their fashion show at London fashion week looked like they may have had a particular book in mind while using the colour scheme. The burgundy-red and yellow was similar to the Gryffindor colours used in Harry Potter and it seems like it was used it a small selection of their outfits including jumpers and a skirt.

11. Bobby Abley - Despicable Me?

Bobby Abley often decides to use some popular movies and series for his clothing ranges, his previous ideas were Pokemon and Alladin however this year it's the return of the Minions and he has created a small collection of Minion based products including a dress, jumper and tracksuit that are perfect for the return of the Minions this year in Movies.
